HPP Book on Individualizing Diets in Long-Term Care Wins Award in 2019 National Mature Media Awards Program
Baltimore, MD (November 22, 2019) — Health Professions Press was a winner in the 28th annual National Mature Media Awards Program. The program, presented by the Mature Market Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for the senior market, recognizes the nation’s finest marketing, communications, educational materials, and programs designed and produced for older adults.
The Inside Scoop on Informed Choice: A Step-by-Step Guide for Personalizing Diets in Long-Term Care by Diane Hall, NHA, RD, LDN, received a Merit Award for Healthcare Publications. The Inside Scoop on Informed Choice is a pragmatic guidebook for administrators, nurses, food service managers, and dietitians that demonstrates step by step how to honor residents’ food choices while also meeting regulatory requirements and reducing liability. It is filled with practical resources including sample forms and guidelines, assessment tools, surveys, quizzes, educational activities, QAPI-based dining solutions, and tip sheets for specialized diets. The book also offers continuing education credits (CEUs).
“We were delighted to take part in the Mature Media Awards Program this year, and were honored to be selected as a winner,” says Melissa Behm, President of Health Professions Press.
The entries were judged by a distinguished panel of mature market experts from across the United States for overall excellence of design, content, creativity, and relevance to the senior market.
HPP extends our warmest congratulations to Diane Hall for writing a book of such value in the long-term care market!
